have the duty of being an executor for a deceased friend. I have been keeping track of my hours spent doing paperwork and making phone calls to resolve some of his debts, etc. I’m almost finished and have 250 hours so far. I think the average rates are different from region to region….also I am not a lawyer….can I get any feedback on this issue….Thanks if you have a thought!

The will provides for the amount that should be given to the executor. If there is no amount indicated on the will, the court will decide for his compensation.
