My uncle passed away a couple months back. He had wanted me to get the house. I have fully paid the taxes on the property. I have durable power of attorney over my uncle. I just need to switch the title now. Thanks
You can’t do that. His estate needs to be probated first, at the end of the probate, if the property still exists and you still have a legal claim the judge will take care of that.
Your POA doesn’t mean anything at this point.
