can that person turn around and sell the property to themselves? What are my options if the person does this? Here is wording of the LREPoA…
"I, (name), do hereb certify that I am the owner of the property located at (some location in PA). and I hereby authorize (Someone) to act o my behalf for the abov real estate and to sign any and all necessary documens on my behalf."
Signed, dated, and notarized.
Also, where on the web can I go to get more information about PoAs?
Usually these POA’s are more specific to the purchase of a property and should include the address and an expiration date. if you have any questions or don’t trust the person signing for you than ask your attorney if there is any way to make it more specific.
